Vancouver pianist and vocalist Jen Lewin received Classical training and later graduated from Vancouver Community College with a major in jazz piano and a minor in contemporary voice in 2001. Jen began her professional career in 2001 and has had the privilege of playing in hundreds of rooms from intimate venues to spacious theatres. Well-versed in styles ranging from jazz to pop to top 40 to rock and even including country and Afro-beat styles, Jen enjoys every performance.
Besides her solo/duo/trio work Jen performs with Take Two! Duo, Radioactive, The Phonix, R&B singer Mike Henry, Jazz singer Andrea Superstein, crooner Tony Barton, y’allternative/indie band Rollaway and her own original neo-soul/R&B with her own band, Stronger Than Lions!
Jen started out her career performing with a number of bands in the cruise industry, and has since played venues including small high-end lounges, casinos, theatres, clubs and numerous weddings and other corporate events.
