The Vancouver Police Pipe Band maintains a tradition of outstanding community service and award-winning skills dating back to 1914. The band wears traditional full highland dress uniforms in the historic style of British Army Highland Regiments with kilts and plaids of Prince Charles Edward Stuart tartan.
The Vancouver Police Pipe Band, through their performances on behalf of the city, provincial, and federal governments, has performed at every conceivable function that has taken place in Vancouver, and traveled with incomparable distinction in Canada, the United States, Mexico and the British Isles. Their trophy case holds hundreds of awards resulting from the many parades and competitions they have taken part in, including the famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Whether you invite the splendor of the bagpipes to pipe in your head table, parade your delegates from hotel lobby to convention meeting place, or simply to kick off the start of your convention with grand pomp and ceremony, the Vancouver Police Pipe Band brings great distinction to mark any festive occasion.
