Runaway Lane features lead vocalist/Canadian Country artist Dave Hartney who has an impressive list of accomplishments. From North Vancouver, Dave is a rising star in the Country music scene. He has played BC’s largest country festival, Sunfest, along with headliners Dallas Smith, Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, and Dierks Bentley. This past year he opened on the main stage for Brett Young and Dustin Lynch, and was also given the honour of closing out the festival in the beer gardens immediately following Eric Church. He returned to the event again for 2019 with more of country’s biggest stars.
Closer to home, Dave was the headlining act for the massive indoor beer gardens (Long Horn Saloon) at this year’s Cloverdale Rodeo, and was featured on the Rodeo’s float for the nationally televised Vancouver and Langley Santa Clause Parades last Christmas. He also performed at this year’s Gone Country cancer fundraiser festival in Langley, and the Williams Lake Stampede.
Dave has also performed an acoustic mix of classic & 90’s rock, pop and top 40 background music at brewery tasting rooms, high-end hotels including the Fairmont Chateau and Four Seasons in Whistler, and many other events. Runaway Lane is fun band that fills the dance floor, playing Country party tunes plus a few Classic Rock songs including music from Tom Petty, Collective Soul, AC/DC and even one Justin Bieber song.
