Marie Hui is a talented vocalist who won a competition of 250 applicants to become the official Vancouver Whitecaps FC singer. She has performed the national anthems for televised Vancouver Canuks Hockey Games and also Vancouver Canadians games, as well as making quite a few appearances at UBC Thunderbird Basketball and NFL Football games. Marie has even sung Oh Canada on a Genie Lift high above the runners at the BMO Half Marathon!
Marie has received much media attention and a HUGE number of Youtube views for her Sports themed parody videos including “Soar” Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl Song based on Katy Perry’s “Roar”, “Umbrella” a tribute to Canucks Coach John Tortorella and “Against All Odds” ( Luongo’s Lament). In addition to her solo performances, Marie is the lead singer for Famous Players and Groove & Tonic, two of Vancouver’s top party bands.
