La Trompette de Noël play beautiful melodies of such seasonal favourites as The First Noël, Silent Night and O Little Town of Bethlehem. Swinging Dixieland treatments are also given to popular songs like Frosty the Snowman, Jinglebell Rock and Let It Snow, to add a lot of fun to holiday festivities. A wide variety of Dixieland and Jazz Standards rounds out the repertoire of these talented musicians.
La Trompette de Noël features trumpet player Al Guraliuk. Since receiving a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of British Columbia in 1979, Al has been actively involved in Vancouver’s musical community. Currently this talented professional musician performs with The Gastby Strutters Jazz Band, The Al Guraliuk Jazz Quartet, The Gastown Strutters Dixieland Band and Latin Lounge.
La Trompette de Noël have performed for numerous clients including Royal Bank, A&W Foods, Park Royal Shopping Centre, MacDonald Dettwiler & Associates, Kitsilano Fourth Ave BIA, and The City Of Surrey for their Tree Lighting Festival.
