Erica Sigurdson is a Vancouver based comic and award winning comedy writer. She is regular featured performer on the smash-hit show The Debaters on CBC radio, as well as a contributor to CBC’s Definitely Not The Opera and The Current. Her TV credits include Comedy Night with Rick Mercer and Comedy Now.
Erica has been described as a “sugar coated razor blade” for her equally sweet and sardonic take on the world around her. She is the person you’d most want to sit next to as a party! She is an award winning comic including the 2022 Leo Award for Best Comedy Writing.
Erica’s first television appearance was at the 2002 Winnipeg Comedy Festival. Since then, she has not slowed down a bit! She is in high-demand as a writer for television and radio across North America in addition to corporate events, club dates and festivals.
