Janelle’s musical training started in Winnipeg and continued in Vancouver. Since her graduation from UBC, Janelle has been taking master classes and workshops with harpists and musicians of different styles of music including Latin, jazz, Celtic and folk. This has given her much motivation in her composing, playing and singing.
Janelle is currently composing music for harp and voice, teaching harp and working on a solo album. One of Janelle’s passions is to play solo concerts showcasing different genres of harp music. She also plays for weddings, corporate functions and other gatherings in need of harp background music, and was recently invited to perform at the prestigious World Harp Congress!
